About Me

Hello! Thanks for visiting My Saturday Smiles! I created this blog in order to help others find joy in the simple things in life. I also thought it would be a good idea for me to focus even more on finding simple things to be happy about. Everyone wants to be happy, right? I started this blog almost a month ago. In the first month it has had over 1,000 views. I feel like this has been a pretty good accomplishment. I am hoping to spread the word and just help others to be happy!
 A little about me... I in my early 20s. I am a wife, student, nanny, and illustrator. I am a somewhat newly wed. I was married to my husband, Brad, on November 17th 2012. We met in June of 2012. Two weeks after we met we were ring shopping. We knew we would get married but waited until August so that we wouldn't scare anyone too much (especially my parents). If you live in Utah this probably doesn't seem too crazy. If you live anywhere else you are probably thinking that I'm crazy. Well, I won't say that I'm not. I am a little crazy. But, just enough to be interesting. :)

I absolutely love being married. I sometimes struggle with cooking and cleaning and all those other wifely duties. But, I have never been happier. 

My husband is my very best friend. He is ten years older than me but we are perfect for each other. He is a bit geeky, brilliant, and the sweetest man I have ever known. I wonder every day how I got so lucky. 

Brad works doing Tech Support and is almost done with his Bachelors in Criminal Justice. He loves Star Wars, Star Trek, and Avengers. He probably has more toys than any child (especially legos).

We live in Orem, Utah in an apartment. We have a dog named Belle who is a dachshund/poodle mix. We also have a cat named Lucy who is a black tuxedo cat.
